Built by people who live in the field | Fieldmaster Africa Safari
Fieldmaster Africa is a safari company rooted in Uganda, run by guides and conservationists who know East Africa from the ground up — not just the brochure.
Where It Started
A trip company built on top of conservation work, not next to it.
Fieldmaster Africa grew out of Save Wildlife Uganda, a conservation organization based in Ishasha working on community programs and wildlife protection long before there was a trip to sell. The idea was simple: let travelers experience the same landscapes the conservation work protects, and put part of what they spend back into that work.
Every itinerary is built around Ishasha as home base, then extends outward — into Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania — because East Africa rarely stays inside one border, and neither should a well-planned trip.

How We Work
Four things that shape every trip we plan.
Expert Field Guides
Every guide is handpicked for depth, not just availability — people who know the terrain, the wildlife behavior, and the small details that make a trip memorable.
Four Countries, One Region
Journeys move freely across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania, built around Ishasha as home base rather than stopping at a single border.
Conservation-Linked Travel
A portion of every trip supports Save Wildlife Uganda’s community and conservation work based in Ishasha — travel that puts something back.
Small & Selective
We work with a limited number of travelers at a time. Fewer groups, more attention, and guiding that never feels rushed.
The Field Team
Selective by design, not by accident.
Save Wildlife Uganda · Ishasha
Every trip gives something back.
Save Wildlife Uganda runs the community and conservation programs behind Fieldmaster Africa — school support, anti-poaching work, and local partnerships in Ishasha. A share of every trip goes directly into that work.
